One of the great things about the Cumbres & Toltec railroad is you can stroll around their railyard in Chama, New Mexico.
October 1st, 2024. Here, the train is staging up next to the station to begin the day’s run to Antonito. Jonathan Steele and I browsed the railyard for an hour or so before the train left the station and then we chased it all the way over Cumbres Pass.
