Fox Squirrel in my backyard tree.

I’m about to embark on a day photography trip with my buddy Ricardo to photograph a few ghost towns on the Eastern plains of Colorado. I figured I better get my camera gear organized, as I haven’t really done much photography so far this year.

I whipped out my Sony a6700 with the 200-600mm lens and did a little setup and practice on the squirrels in my back yard. They’ve been hanging around my deck lately, waiting for me to go away so they could raid my bird feeder. This one was lurking in the pear tree behind the deck and watching me. Good practice for me on a warm, spring-like Sunday afternoon.

Not all the squirrels are in the trees.
