I’ve been editing my recent batch of photographs from the San Juan Mountain autumn photography trip, and as a result, I’ve also been reorganizing all my photographs from past autumn photography trips by location. While working on a collection from the San Juan Mountains, I came across this photo I made in October of 2011. What struck me about this image is the fact that my wife was standing right next to me when I made it.
So, this is a shout out to my wife Trudy. We have made so many good memories together and there is more to come.
The kids are all grown and gone off to live their own lives. We’ve lost many family members over the years and those who remain are spread out all over the country, so it’s mostly you and me, just living our lives in the moment.
I love you my darling.
