Cumbres & Toltec Narrow Gauge Railroad
From this past week’s road trip to Chama, New Mexico. The Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad runs along the Colorado & New Mexico border.
It’s been a long time since I’ve photographed this particular train but I’ve finally got a fresh batch of photographs with some autumn photography to boot.
I used the Sony a6700 on this photograph. The Sony has AI subject tracking for trains and it worked great on this shot. It locked on to the front of the locomotive and never let go as the train moved towards me. At 26 megapixels, there’s plenty of resolution for prints or display. Impressive little camera and very convenient to drive around with it as it doesn’t take up much room in the front seat of the truck.
