Georgetown Loop, Devils Gate Trestle
I took my grandson Bryson to the Georgetown Loop to see and ride the vintage steam train today. What a great experience for him and me. I presented him with his own camera kit, my Sony RX100-II along with some other accessories. He’s 13 years old and took to the camera like a fish takes to water. I’m one pleased Grandpa.
I used to do photo tours at the Georgetown Loop NGRR, but that was several years ago. I haven’t been there since my last tour. Things have changed a little bit. They are running a different locomotive these days. They placed the Baldwin 111 online shortly after my last visit, so it was good to get some shots of the locomotive. I used my Sony a6700 and the 18-135mm kit lens. Everything worked out great.
