Classic Colorado ghost town stuff
Midland Terminal Railway Depot in the Cripple Creek mining district ghost town.

Cripple Creek, Colorado isn’t a ghost town in it’s entirety, but it is more of a historical mining district that has a plethora of abandoned mines and railroad structures, along with many building that have been long since left to the ages.

I visited the town in 2010 to photograph the Cripple Creek & Victor Railroad, and found this old rail depot still standing. I believe it is a private residence, but I caught it while it was still in a state of refurbishing. The upper level looks to be occupied with curtains and blinds. Classic Colorado ghost town stuff though. Old railroads and mines, abandoned to time, reconstructed and available for public viewing. Some places are more developed than others. Cripple Creek is a major destination for those searching for Colorado’s mining and railroad history.
