A perfect location for birds in flight photography.
Lucky us. We got the dead guy's room.

the added bonus of showing flocks of sandhill cranes in flight against the backdrop...
there are 58 peaks in the state that qualify as fourteeners.
this was my very first dedicated trip to photograph these birds.
